Civil Aviation Surveys — Airports

Project Overview

All works were carried out to the specification of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Inner-area surveys determine aviation aids and runways, while outer-area surveys collect ETOD data and identify all obstacles around the airport.

Cairo International Airport — NANSC (Egypt)

• Collected electronic data for Cairo Airport.
• Constructed 90 ground control points observed by GNSS.
• Determined all obstacles — buildings, electric towers and masts over 100 m — within a 45 km radius.

Oman Civil Aviation — OMAC (Oman)

• Constructed international ground control points referenced to WGS84 and ITRF 2008, observed by GNSS.
• Survey works across Areas 1–4 according to ICAO.
• Muscat Airport — obstacle position checks; Salalah, Adam and Galloni airstrips.
